A week ago, a blog entry was published that presented the advantages of using Stream Needs versus traditional online gift registries. In that post we broke down our argument using four points: Assurance, Flexibility, Return & Warrenty, and Preservation. This blog entry offers a bit more information about our fourth point, Preservation.
The Preservation section of our previous post covered how Stream Needs helps registry managers sustain business relationships with their preferred retailers. This is important because not only does business preservation enhance our service for registry managers but it allows this platform to be an asset to their favorite stores as well. Let’s go over how this is done.
Stream Needs only requests product information that is publicly available from a third-party source when a registry manager adds a gift to their wish list. This means any request for product information that was made using Stream Needs is initiated by organic human interest. Stream Needs does not offer any form of autonomous data aggregation technology.
Stream Needs was created to serve its registry managers and support their preferred shopping methods. Not only does our gifting platform preserve business between customers and retailers, it can drive new business to any listed product’s source of origin. Additional information about this may follow in a future blog post.
